About Us

Pastor Joe and Becky Cruse

With a heritage rooted deep in Christian music and over three decades of ministry experience, the Cruses offer a dynamic yet intimate worship style that creates a unique atmosphere for people to experience the glory and presence of God.

Joe and Becky began ministering together in 1972. The Cruse Family, an evangelistic music ministry, traveled and ministered all over the world throughout the 70's and 80's. The released 25 albums during this time and were the recipients of two coveted Dove awards in 1978.

In 1990, God planted them in Rockwall, Texas where the husband and wife duo served for five years as the praise and worship leaders for Church on the Rock. In spring of 1995, the Cruses began traveling once again, this time with renowned evangelist, Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne of Revival Ministries International.

Joe and Becky, together with their family and a few friends, finally settled in Austin, Texas in the fall of 2001. After multiple years of training and mentoring young musicians, their long time dream became a reality. WMI branched out to include a strong local church and two schools that provide an outstanding home base for this dynamic ministry. The legacy, integrity, and experience of the Cruse Family, coupled with their heart for God and their passion for His people and His presence is unparalleled in the church world today.

"The passion of our lives has always been to take people to a higher place or worship. Worshipworks Ministries (WMI) and its synergy of ministries was born out of a clear mandate from God and a burning desire to see the nations changed by the power of God and filled with anointed and excellent worship leaders, musicians and artists.”

Mission/Purpose

Worship

We are a group of believers who love bringing our feelings and expressions of reverence and adoration to the forefront of all aspects of life.  To give thanks for everything God has done in our lives.  From our weekly corporate Sunday celebrations to every small group that meets and to every home, worship unto the Lord is our privilege.

Word

We believe the Word of God is the standard and benchmark for life.  Our church community is built on this foundation and it’s power to change the lives that choose to receive it.  It is good for reproof, correction, direction, revelation and exaltation.

Fellowship

We are a group of people who share the same Kingdom interests.  We value fun and good fellowship as the cement of the community. We come together corporately for Sunday Celebrations, Revival services, and Body life events such as “House to house” Centre-g meetings that gather weekly across the city building families and relationships.

As a local body of Christian believers, we believe in sharing our resources.  We do this through our tithes and offerings and other financial means for the betterment of others by establishing a strong local church that supports community outreach and world missions.

God’s Power Demonstrated

We are a church that believes “Nothing is Impossible.”  We are a “book of Acts” church who believes that miracles still happen today!  The miracle of the new birth, the power of God to change a life from the inside out, is the greatest miracle of all.  We also believe the gifts of the Spirit should be in operation in the 21st century church.

The Harvest

The church community should be ever reaching and making disciples by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.  Whether through our Sunday celebrations, Equip, Centre-G, Evangelistic outreaches, or one-on-one we are to share our faith.
